OH House 77th, 78th, 82nd, 83rd, 86th, 94th: Petition Filings Confirmed

I called the Boards of Elections for Mercer, Shelby, Marion, Logan, Highland and Muskingum Counties to pin down election petition filings for the following races:

* Betsy Marshall (D-Eaton) will again oppose incumbent Keith Faber (R-Celina) in Ohio House District 77. Faber defeated Marshall by 69.80% to 30.20% in 2004.

* In Ohio House District 78, the seat being vacated by Derrick Seaver (R-Minster), the Democratic primary will feature Thomas Matthew (D-Wapakoneta), Adam Ward (D-Urbana) and Jason Dorsey (D-Sidney). On the Republican side, announced candidate Jon Umstead (R-Urbana) did not file. Instead, it will be John Adams (R-St. Paris), Michael Galluzzo (R-St. Paris) and Steven Hess (R-St. Paris) in the primary.

* In Ohio House District 82, as previously reported on this blog, bakery founder and Navy veteran Willie Pickens (D-Marion) is running against incumbent Steve Reinhard (R-Bucyrus). Reinhard defeated his last Democratic opponent, David Combs, by 62% to 38%.

* Incumbent Tony Core (R-Rushylvania) has a primary foe, Michael J. King (R-Caledonia), in Ohio House District 83. The winner will be opposed by Shawn Allen (D-Bell Center) in the general election. Core won this district in 2004 with 73% of the vote.

* Bill Horne (D-Hillsboro) will again oppose incumbent David Daniels (R-Greenfield) in Ohio House District 86. Horne lost to Daniels by 39% to 61% in 2004.

* Aaron B. Phillips (D-Zanesville) will take on incumbent Jim Aslanides (R-Coshocton) in Ohio House District 94. Aslanides was unopposed in 2004.

The Tax Return Crack-Up<3>
Granted, there are usuallyMicrosoft Office 2010write-ups when presidential contenders make their tax returns available, but the coverage falls far short of the Office 2010
full court press (pardon the pun) that the Clintons have received. What's Microsoft Office 2007different now?Office 2007One possibility is that most upper middle class Democrats, and therefore most Microsoft OfficeOffice 2007 keyeditors and reporters of our nation's big papers as well as Office 2007 downloadtelevision producers, are Obama supporters who think that Hillary should hurry up Office 2007 Professionaland drop out of the race already.Microsoft outlook
Microsoft outlook 2010Whom elite liberals are pulling for really does shape political coverage in ways
