OH Sen 21st: Woodard (D) Out of Race?

It appears that term-limited State Rep. Claudette Woodard (D-Cleveland Heights) has dropped out of the crowded primary field for the Ohio Senate 21st District seat of the term-limited Minority Leader, State Sen. C.J. Prentiss (D-Cleveland). Although Woodard's campaign website is still up, the list of candidates at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website has the notation "withdrew" next to Woodard's name, and she does not appear on the list of candidates at OhioBusinessVotes. Term-limited State Rep. Shirley Smith (D-Cleveland) obtained the Democratic Party endorsement for the 21st District seat. Other candidates in the Democratic primary are State Rep. Annie L. Key (D-Cleveland), W. Lewis Britt (D-Cleveland) and George Gaines (D-Cleveland). Burrell Antonio Jackson (R-Cleveland) and Richard Norris (R-Cleveland) will square off in the Republican primary.
