OH Sen: Brown (D) Interviewed by Blogger
Editor, of the unparalleled blog Ohio 2nd, has posted a must-read personal interview with senatorial candidate Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-Avon). Go there now and read it, or download the audio. Congratulations to Editor for pursuing this interview, and for doing such a great job with it. And also to Brown for granting it.
At the ODP State Dinner, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) urged bloggers to get over their personal displeasure with Brown in the wake of the failed Paul Hackett candidacy, stressing the critical importance both of winning this Senate (which may contribute to making Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) the new majority leader) and of getting Brown's progressive voice into the Senate. Editor is to be commended for putting Obama's advice into concrete form by seeking and publishing this interview. After reading it, there is simply no doubt that Sherrod Brown is a good man and deserves every ounce of our support. As to what went before, it is long past time to just let it go.

Sammy, the only thing that needs to be "let go" is Sherrod's own arrogance and lack of responsiveness to those turned off by his high-handed behavior. This ceased being about Paul Hackett months ago, if it ever was. Now it's all about Sherrod, and I don't see much of anything that convinces me he's a good man or an effective candidate. He's dead last on my last of Democratics I'm supporting for the fall. I just don't trust the guy.
When was the last time you go over yourself and got to know about Sherrod and the truth about a very caring and kind and intelligent gentleman - who does not know nor condone arrogance - as for responsiveness - he is totally responsive and communicative - and warm, friendly and very approachable.
