Gov: Tom Vilsack to Campaign for Strickland (D)

The Democratic Governor of Iowa, Tom Vilsack, will be the featured guest at a campaign reception for gubernatorial candidate Rep. Ted Strickland (D-Lisbon) this coming Monday, August 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Harpersfield Winery, 6387 State Route 307 between Route 534 and Route 528, in Harpersfield, Ashtabula County, Ohio. UPDATE: As noted in a comment on this blog, Vilsack also will be in Solon on Monday to hold a town hall meeting about U.S. foreign policy. Vilsack will discuss his recent meeting with Israeli leaders, and his visits this year to Iraq, China and Afghanistan, and will take questions from the audience. The event is free and open to the general public.

Wonderful team. Saw them both in action tonight and they left me with real hope for our state and, who knows, maybe our country.
