Ohio House 43rd: Tim Ryan to Host Fundraiser for Dyer (D)
Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Niles), at left in the photograph, will host a pig roast to support the 43rd Ohio House District campaign of Stephen Dyer (D-Green). The event, dubbed a “Wine and Swine”, will take place September 17 at the Atwater Township home of Portage County Democratic Chairman Craig Stephens from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
“I’m honored that someone of Congressman Ryan’s stature would host an event for me,” Dyer said. “I’m glad the Congressman recognizes the need to return new, fresh, energetic leadership to the statehouse for all Ohioans. I look forward to working with Congressman Ryan and Governor Strickland in the coming years.”
At 34, Dyer is one year older than Ryan. Dyer is a 1990 graduate of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. He received a bachelor’s degree in English from Tufts University in 1994, a master’s degree in journalism from Kent State University in 1999, and a law degree from the University of Akron in 2005. He was a reporter for the Akron Beacon Journal from 1997 until last year, and says he has "covered everything from Soap Box Derby races to the expulsion of former Rep. James A. Traficant from Congress to terrorism." He now works as a Staff Attorney for the Summit County Executive’s office and lives in Green with his wife of six years, Melissa, and their 17-month-old son, Logan.
Suggested contribution levels are $100, $250, $500 and $1000. Contributions can be sent to Citizens for Stephen Dyer, P.O. Box 83, Green, Ohio 44232. RSVP to stevedyer-at-stephendyer-dot-com.

If birds of a feather flock togeter, that means you are as unconcerned with your constituancy as Ryan. That means, your days in politics are limited as Ryan doesn't worry about WE THE PEOPLE and obviously neither do you. Suggest you keep your left overs, you may need them to eat. You see, Ryan is on his third strike and he will be OUT~! I would distance yourself from him!
