Cong OH-13: Sutton (D) Far Ahead in New Polling

The campaign of Betty Sutton (D-Copley Township) has released new poll results that show her leading Craig Foltin (R-Lorain) by a large margin in every county in the 13th Congressional District, including a 21 point lead in Foltin's home base of Lorain County. The overall result is:

56% Sutton (D)
33% Foltin (R)

The poll also shows that only 24 percent of 13th District voters think that the nation is headed in the right direction and barely a third of voters, 36 percent, view President Bush favorably.

This survey of 506 likely voters was conducted October 17-18 by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and has a margin of error of 4.4 points.
