Statewide Races: Dems Gain All But Supreme Court and Undecided Auditor Race
With 96.16% of the vote counted, the Democrats have taken the races for governor (Ted Strickland), attorney general (Marc Dann), secretary of state (Jennifer Brunner), and treasurer (Richard Cordray). Both Supreme Court races go to the Republicans, leaving Ohio with a one-party high court.
The auditor's race is too close to call, with State Rep. Mary Taylor (R-Green) leading State Rep. Barbara Sykes (D-Akron) by almost 80,000 votes out of about 3.5 million cast. This race won't be officially determined until all the absentee and provisional ballots are counted.

Does anyone know when was the last time Ohio's supreme court was a one party court?
I have been told that the answer is "never."
