Ohio Sen 7th: Debate Set for October 18
The League of Women Voters has scheduled a debate between 7th Ohio Senate District challenger Rick Smith (D-Cincinnati) and incumbent State Sen. Robert Schuler (R-Sycamore Township) for October 18th, 2006, at 7:00 pm at the Anderson Township Government Center, 7954 Beechmont Ave, Anderson Township, Ohio.The format is a two minute opening, a three minute closing, and each candidate will have two minutes to answer each question; however, there is no time allowance for rebuttal.
CORRECTION: I initially reported that the debate would not be broadcast, but that was a misunderstanding. It will be carried on local cable television.

Ironically I just came across Schuler's name today when researching some RFID stuff. He has a bill in the legislature about preventing employers from using RFID on their employees, something similar to Wisconsin perhaps - which is the only state to have such a ban.
