Sen: Brown (D) to Give First MoveOn "Progressive Vision" Address Tomorrow
Tomorrow (Wednesday, September 13) at 12:30 pm, U.S. Senate candidate Rep Sherrod Brown (D-Avon) will be the first speaker in the Progressive Vision series sponsored by MoveOn in Washington, DC.
This summer, over a hundred thousand MoveOn members at house parties and online chose the top three goals that MoveOn will fight for in the months to come: Health Care for All, Clean Energy, and A Democracy Restored. These are the topics for the Progressive Vision series. Brown will kick it off by talking about health care, followed by Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) on energy and Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) on campaign finance reform.
Brown will speak at the Continental Ballroom and Amphitheater, 3rd floor of the Marvin Center, George Washington University, 800 21st Street NW. The speech will be broadcast nationally over the internet by MoveOn, and the audio will be carried on the Al Franken Show on Air America.
UPDATE: RSVP here to be notified as soon as the feed goes live. Go back to the same location to view the broadcast.
