NOTICE: Ohio2006 Blog to Become OhioDaily Blog in Ten Days
This blog was created in January for the sole purpose of covering the historic midterm election that concludes three days from now. My mission was to call public attention to good progressive candidates up and down the ticket, and it has been my great pleasure to do so. However, on November 14th, a week after the polls close, this blog will be consigned to history, and a new and different blog will take its place.
The new blog will provide multifaceted coverage of Ohio news and policy, in a variety of dimensions and formats, with participation by correspondents and guest commentators. You can look forward to original reporting and insightful interviews as well as aggregation of breaking news from around the state, plus penetrating analysis, entertaining asides, and multimedia features.
So make a note, as of November 14th the place for news and policy is:

Jeff, you are just one of the best. Your new venture is going to be great, I know it. (I still can never figure out how you document comments verbatim so fast--are you sure you didn't have training as a court reporter?)
