Serious Ugly
There's a lot more coming down the pike, and it ain't pretty. The ABC News blog The Blotter reports that three new House pages have come forward to reveal what they call "sexual approaches" over the Internet from former Congressman Mark Foley.
All three are bad, but here's one:
"I was seventeen years old and just returned to [my home state] when Foley began to e-mail me, asking if I had ever seen my page roommates naked and how big their penises were," said the page in the 2002 class. One of the three pages said he was interviewed by FBI agents this week, who had a six-page list of questions.
The former page also said Foley told him that if he happened to be in Washington, D.C., he could stay at Foley's home if he "would engage in oral sex" with Foley.
All three pages described instant messages and e-mails that followed a similar pattern of escalating from innocuous to increasingly provocative questions. "He didn't want to talk about politics," one page said. "He wanted to talk about sex or my penis."
This story isn't going away, and it hasn't even hit a plateau. As Laura of Project Runway might say, there's some serious ugly coming our way.
